The board of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) has sent home its Chief Executive Officer Angela Ndambuki.
Ms Ndambuki, a previous individual from Kenyan young lady band Tatuu, was designated CEO of KNCCI eight months prior.
Addressing NTV, the Chamber’s Chairman, Kiprono Kittony, said that the board selected not to broaden Ndambuki’s agreement after probation.
Despite the fact that her probation period was a half year, she has been in office for 8 months.
Kittony would not reveal the specifics of Ms Ndambuki’s flight.
However, sources close to NTV have indicated that Ndambuki was against the board having direct influence over the day-to-day operations of the Chamber.
