Only the world’s biggest football stars have the privilege to become legends and there are only a few, such as Samuel Eto’o, who are able to put this power at the service of solidarity.
The 16th of July will go down in history as African legendary footballer, Samuel Eto’o, who has almost won every major honour in the sport will host his charity match in Antalaya, Turkey in honour of the ‘Eto’o Foundation’ which will clock ten years.
Former Super Eagles skippers; Nwankwo Kanu and Austin Jay Jay Okocha alongside top international superstar players like Leo Messi, Neymar, Luis Suarez, Diego Maradona, Eden Hazard, Andrés Iniesta, Drogba and Arda Turan have been listed to feature in the star-studded match against a selection of top players from Turkish all-stars team.
“Samuel Eto’o will host a friendly game on 16 July 2016 at the Antalya Arena stadium. Messi, Neymar, Suarez, Maradona, Hazard, Iniesta, Demba Ba, Drogba and Arda Turan will be some of the names in his dream team,” a statement on Antalyaspor’s website said on Thursday.
