As Jamie Foxx continues to recover in the hospital, his celebrity friends are sharing updates and sending him well wishes.
Kevin Hart is the latest famous face to comment on the actor’s well-being.
“I’m very fortunate to have the relationship that I have with Jamie and to be able to just check on him and stuff like that,” Kevin said during a recent episode of PRIME Hydration co-founder Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Hart explained why the Foxx family has remained tight-lipped on Jamie’s condition: “They’re being tight and for reasons just about where he is because Jamie’s always been a private person to a certain degree.”
While Hart doesn’t know the “exact details” of the “medical complication” that saw the Annie actor hospitalised more than three weeks ago, he says Foxx is on the mend.
“The dope thing is that he’s getting better in his situation, and you know, everybody’s prayers, everybody’s love, energy – all that stuff is seen and felt. So, in this case, man, you just want the guy to get out of the situations and then get back home.”
“To my knowledge, there’s a lot of progression and a world of better, man,” he added. “So you know, my love, synergy, energy goes out to him. He’s needed. He’s necessary. I know that he knows that, and I know that he feels that because there’s been an outcry, an outpour of support in this regard. So, I can only hope that it continues.”
Foxx took to social media, breaking his silence earlier this week.
The actor thanked Nick Cannon and Kelly Osbourne for stepping in to host the game show Beat Shazam on his Instagram Stories – and shared a quick message with his fans.
The post is the actor’s first since 6 April. He’s been recovering in hospital since 12 April.
