Ghana’s Eno Barony Wins ‘Best Female Rapper’ In Africa

Female Ghanaian rapper Eno Barony has been adjudged the Best Female Rap Act in Africa at the just ended African Muzik Magazine Awards (AFRIMMA).

She beat colleague rappers from other African countries including Nakai (South Africa), Moonya (Senegal), Rosa Ree (Tanzania), Bombshell Grenade (Zambia), Muthoni Drummer Queen (Kenya), Askia (Cameroon), Candy Bleakz (Nigeria), Keko (Uganda) and Rouge from South Africa.

The King of Queens took to her official Instagram page to express gratitude.

Eno was the only Ghanaian act to win an award on the night following nominations from twenty-five other entertainers.

Ghanaians celebrities who bagged nominations include Adina, Stonebwoy, Joe Mettle, Diana Hamilton, Kofi Mole, J Derobie, Efya, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, Manifest, Sarkodie, Medikal, Directors David Duncan and Gyo Gyimah, TV personality Jessica Opare Saforo, Andy Dostyand DJ Akua.
