Ghana: Please Don’t Call me a Pastor – Music Producer, Kaywa

The Renowned Ghanaian producer Kaywa, who was recently ordained as a man of God says he doesn’t want to be referred to as such.

According to him, he is still mindful of producing songs to make a living.

Kaywa was conferred with a Doctor of Divinity certificate from the United Apostolic Theology Seminary last month.

He shared the certificate which makes him an ordained minister of God on Instagram with the caption: “Totally grateful to God…psalm127:1 #hemadeaway #thankyougodforeverything #JesusChrist.”

But speaking in an interview on Tuesday, Kaywa, when asked if he should be referred to as a pastor rather than a producer, replied saying:

“I am a businessman. But in my area of business I share Christ. I have always been a sound engineer. Don’t call me a pastor. By their fruits you shall know them,” he told OPD, host of the show.
