Ghana: Music is Not All About Money – Producer, Rocky Dawuni

Ghanaian International music star, producer and activist, Rocky Dawuni says music is not all about money as most musicians think.

The Grammy award nominee made this statement in an interview.

‘Music is not about money. I had to go through different challenges to showcase my music. I had to go through every disappointment and it was an inspiration for me to move forward to be able to lay down certain doors so that it will make it easy for those who will walk the same path to be able to have that opportunity.’

Rocky Dawuni is currently promoting his new album dubbed ‘’Beats of Zion’.

Dawuni has shared the stage with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Peter Gabriel, Bono, Jason Mraz, Janelle Monae and John Legend, among many others.

Named one of Africa’s Top 10 global stars by CNN, he has showcased his talent at prestigious venues such as The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. and The Hollywood Bowl in Los Angelos.
