Actress and producer, Yvonne Okoro has firmly denied rumors that she was once romantically involved with former Black Stars captain, Stephen Appiah.
Speaking in an interview with Deloris Frimpong-Manso on the Delay Show, Yvonne stated emphatically that they never went out together.

According to the actress, this is not the first time she has heard such rumors, adding it probably won’t be the last.
She said she was only good friends with his family, and had invited them on her ‘Cooking with Yvonne Okoro’ show during its first season.
“Stephen Appiah is like a family friend. I didn’t call Stephen Appiah for my father’s birthday, my father called Stephen to come. Why because, Stephen Appiah manages my brother. My brother is a footballer; Kenneth Okoro. We built a friendship, he’s that type of person I can call and sometimes, he calls me when he hears something negative about me to tell me to be careful,” the actress added.
The actress vehemently denied the supposed claims that she had kissed the footballer at the entrance of Golden Tulip Hotel in Accra, stating that these were all lies.

Yvonne Okoro recently disclosed that she was involved with someone who was not in the Ghana showbiz industry, but declined to reveal his identity.
Yvonne noted that the state of many celebrity relationships have left her cautious about her own romantic life, hence her decision to keep silent about it.
