Dance hall artiste Article Wan has said in a recent interview that he is more famous than ‘One Corner’ hit creator Patapaa.
The artiste who shot into the spotlight in 2016 with his ‘Performance’ track said on Zylofon FM on Thursday that despite the fact that Patapaa has increased much consideration as of late, he is more famous than him.
“You and Patapaa, who is more famous?,” the host, Sammy Flex asked.
“I think I am more popular,” Article Wan answered.
Patapaa who got into mainstream music in 2017 after he performed his ‘One Corner’ song at the Agona Swedru Akwambo Festival, is currently one of the hottest artistes in the country.
He has generated a lot of controversy with his style of dressing and choice of lyrics.
In the meantime, Article Wan has featured Patapaa on his new song titled ‘That Thing.’ The two display great creativity on the song by inter-weaving their individual jargons: ‘ngenge,’ ‘olale’ and ‘skat skat kelenken.’
