Malaysian transport authorities said on Thursday that a large piece of aircraft discovered in June, in Pemba Island, off the coast of Tanzania, is from the missing Malaysia Airlines plane, MH370.

The piece, an outboard flap, will be examined further to see if it can yield any insight to the circumstances surrounding the aircraft that vanished with 239 people on board during a flight from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing, on March 8, 2014.
