Togo have appointed Frenchman Claude LeRoy as their new national team coach.
He replaces Tom Saintfiet, whose two-year contract with the Sparrow Hawks expired in May 2015.
Le Roy, who has widely travelled on the continent, has agreed a three-year deal.
His immediate task will be to qualify Togo for the 2017 Africa Nations Cup in Gabon.
Togo are third in their qualifying group, two points behind leaders Liberia; they take on the latter on June 3.
A known name on the continent, he in the past guided Cameroon to the 1988 Nations Cup title.
He also had coaching stints with, Ghana, Senegal and Congo.
Many pundits believe Le Roy has the pedigree to turn around Togo’s fortunes.
