Cassie’s Lawsuit Against Diddy is Officially Dismissed Following a Settlement

Cassie’s lawsuit against music producer Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, which alleged beatings and abuse, has been settled.

‘Pursuant to an agreement between the parties, Plaintiff today dismisses this suit, with prejudice and without costs or fees to either side,’ a New York court declared Monday after reading legal documents, according to TMZ.

Because the dismissal was filed with prejudice, Cassie will not be able to file the suit a second time.

The settlement was disclosed Friday, one day after the case was filed, in a statement delivered by Cassie’s attorney, Douglas Wigdor. Cassie’s full name is Casandra Ventura.

The statement stated that they had achieved an arrangement ‘to their mutual satisfaction’ on Friday evening, but no parameters of the agreement were divulged, and no additional statements would be issued beyond those made by Ventura, Combs, and Wigdor in the lawyer’s email.

‘I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control,’ Ventura said in her statement. ‘I want to thank my family, fans and lawyers for their unwavering support.’

Combs said: ‘We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.’

On Thursday, he said in a statement that Combs ‘vehemently denies’ the allegations.

According to the lawsuit, Combs drew the singer into his ‘ostentatious, fast-paced, and drug-fueled lifestyle’ shortly after she met him and joined to his company in 2005, when she was 19 and he was 37.

Ventura, now 37, claims Combs, now 54, began an abusive behavior as soon as their on-again, off-again relationship began in 2007.

According to the lawsuit, Combs was ‘prone to unbridled wrath,’ and he subjected Ventura to’savage’ beatings in which he punched, kicked, and stomped her.It claims he drugged her and forced her to have sex with other guys while masturbating and filming them.

According to the lawsuit, as Ventura was trying to end the relationship in 2018, Combs forced her into her Los Angeles home and raped her.
