U.S media personality Steve Harvey is in South Africa.
At a press conference on Monday, Harvey announced that a local version of US family game show Family Feud is coming to local screens.
At the press conference, Harvey shared details of why the popular TV game show is coming to SA.
“Eventually my goal is to have South Africa play against Ghana, Joburg against Durban… My goal is to have it that way. And to have it so massive, almost like a soccer game,” said Harvey.
Production of the long-running US show will begin in October in Johanessburg and is expected to air in Africa in 2020.
Harvey has been hosting Family Feud since 2010, the show has been on air since 1976.
