Michael B. Jordan will be granted with the Cinema Vanguard Award at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival one year from now.
The on-screen character will be respected for his work in Black Panther and Creed II at the celebration which will occur from 30 January to 9 February.
According to Variety, the award recognizes actors who have forged their own path, taking artistic risks and making a significant and unique contribution to film.
