Mi Casa frontman J’Something wrote a heartwarming tribute to his wife, Cordelia Godi, on Instagram, saying: “…this mighty fine young lady right here makes me super duper happy.”
The couple, who married in 2015, were introduced to each other by band member Mo-T. At the time, they were both dating other people, but their paths crossed again later in life.
“I have learnt a lot from our journey together. I remember reading a description of love in the Bible one day and thinking, dam I want that. Not only do I wanna receive that, but I wanna GIVE that,” he captioned a photo of the pair together.
“I often think of it and what I have come to realize is that the pursuit of the above is the essence of this life, to try and BE LOVE. What I also do realize and this for me has been key, is that we CONSTANTLY fall short of the above too [sic],” he continued.
The couple, who keep much of their family life private, have a son together – who the musician dedicated his cookbook to in 2018.
“I don’t think we will ever achieve love in it’s entirety in this lifetime… but the pursuit is the real high [sic],” he said in the post, dedicated to his wife.
