Basketball Wives’ star, Evelyn Lozada loses her step father to Coronavirus

Basketball Wives’ star, Evelyn Lozada has penned down a tribute to her step father Larry, following his death from Coronavirus.

 

The American TV personality shared a photo of Larry in his younger years donning a New York Mets tank top as he held her daughter Shaniece Hairston, 26, when she was a baby.

Lozada revealed that her step father died from the disease on Monday April 13. She wrote;

 

On Monday 4/6/20 I lost my stepfather Larry to Covid-19. Larry, as you sit in heaven enjoying the company of God, I say thank you for the great memories & thank you for being the greatest stepfather a girl can ask for! Happy birthday in paradise

Lozada who was married to former Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Ochocinco in 2012, is one of the American celebrities who have suffered family tragedy due to the deadly pandemic. Her stepfather’s death came the same day Minnesota Timberwolves star, Karl-Anthony Towns lost his mother Jacqueline Towns to complications from the virus.

 

As of Tuesday, there were 604,147 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the US and 25,829 deaths.
