Shopping in either Mr Price or Shoprite was an issue of debate on Twitter. Black twitter community spent the entire Monday bantering about purchasing from Mr Price and Shoprite stores.This brought divided opinions as some felt it was an extraordinary way of setting aside cash as both retail chains are reasonable while the other half felt both don’t have the best quality.

South African TV presenter Lerato, also had her opinion on the convo sharing her idea

“The people that are always looking down on Mr Price, have Instagram pages that look like Mr Price Factories!There’s nothing wrong with Mr Price and Shoprite! Do what suits your pockets, not what suits social media my children, baska lehlanyetsa! Mr Price has really cute stuff,” Lerato tweeted.
