Kenyan Former Sakata judge Jo-1 Metamorphs, Releases a New Song

On Sakata, Joanne Ball Burgess popularly known as JO-1 was known as the straight-up, no-nonsense judge who rarely gave out a 10 even to the slickest dancers.

And even her earlier songs, like Chiziqa, betrayed an artist hugely focused on dance-themed tracks and also, an artist who shied away from overtly-s*xual moves or looks.

In Chiziqa, a song she released five years ago under Grandpa Records, Jo-1 was mostly into fast-tracked jams and heavily into the dance element and also very Afro-inspired.

Fast forward and now, the sassy dance legend lets loose insanely in the freshly-released Body Drop, a song that not just explores her sexy side but also showcases her in a whole different light.

Jo-1 has now metamorphosed into a pop star in her own right, incorporating elements of her Caribbean background and getting as sensual as sassy and as naughty as ever in camera.

Check out the new-age Jo-1, complete with a look that grabs attention.
