Singer Zwai Bala and his wife Melanie Bala have confirmed the rumours about their seperation.

This comes after months of speculation from the public, on the state of their marriage.

In a joint statement released on their social media accounts, they had this to say.

“We confirm that we have separated and divorce proceedings are underway. We have come to a mutual decision that although we’ve strived to be the best version of ourselves within our marriage, we have fallen short of that.”

They then end the statement by saying they are committed to “jointly” raise their children and will continue to be “great friends.”

The two have been married since 2008, and have two children, a 10-year old son and six-year old daughter.
