The gruesome death of the 21 years old South African lady who was allegedly murdered, burnt and buried in a shallow grave by her boyfriend might be taking another turn as reports in South African media indicate that she must have been a victim of religious ritual killing. The news of Karabo’s death became an international discuss when the hashtag #MenAreTrash trended for days in South Africa.
South African Sunday tabloid, Sunday World reports that Karabo’s murder was a ritual killing performed at a church in Johannesburg where blood was swapped to unite the couple spiritually and strengthen Karabo’s boyfriend, Mantsoe’s struggling business.
The report further alleges that a Ghanaian traditional healer was also involved in the plot, but he died just after her boyfriend revealed to the police that he buried her body. As it stands, these reports will only be confirmed when court proceedings resume this week.
