Kwesta’s traditional wedding comes after the rapper confirmed his engagement to the mother of his child and long-time partner on the Metro FM Awards black carpet earlier this year.

Meanwhile, Kwesta’s fans rallied around the rapper when he ended up with no award at the Metro FM Awards. Most of his fans including fellow artists thought that Kwesta’s Ngud would take the award for Song of the Year. Instead, the award went to Nasty c for Hell Naw.

Ngud was clearly one of the most celebrated songs in 2016.

Nevertheless, the rapper took pride in his performance at the South by Southwest (SXSW) music and lifestyle festival in Austin, Texas. The event which takes place annually in March is a combination of film, media, music festivals and conferences.

Kwesta was very excited about the opportunity to hoist the SA flag high for the world to see. The rapper joins the likes of K.O and Jesse Clegg who have performed at the festival in the past.
