Many Nigerians residents in the United States of America who are returning home for the yuletide have expressed their unwillingness not to return to the US again.
Some of the returnees who spoke with Independent at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport shortly after their trip from the US said though they are used to coming to Nigeria for the holiday and return at the end of the festivities, they are not in a hurry to do so now.
They said they are unwilling to return to the country since they don’t know what lies ahead for them with a Donald Trump presidency.
According to them, many Nigerians who are still undecided on whether to leave the US are scared because of the massive investments they have in the country and the fear of returning to Nigeria which is currently battling with kidnapping, power outages and above all, economic recession.
