Photo: Nigerian Lawyer Fani Kayode Got Arrested By EFCC Operatives In Lagos

Nigerian lawyer and essayist, Femi Fani Kayode who had earlier predicted his arrest by the anti-graft agency, EFCC was today, 21st of October whisked away again over alleged financial crimes.

The above picture is the moment the operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) escorted a vocal People’s Democratic Party chieftain, Femi Fani-Kayode into a waiting van for further interrogation on a yet to be announced crime.
Fani-Kayode was re-arrested by operatives of the anti-graft about 1.55pm outside the premises of a Federal High Court on Oyinkan Abayomi Drive, Ikoyi, Lagos.

Fani-Kayode, who was in court for his trial over an alleged fraud of ‎N4.9bn, was re-arrested shortly after he stepped out of the court premises.

The EFCC is yet to release a press statement on why the ardent critic of the President Muhammadu Buhari administration was arrested.
