Kenyan Lady Used Phone-Smashing Incident To Blackmail Chris Brown

It has now emerged that the Mombasa lady who accused Chris Brown of smashing her iPhone was looking for a free ticket and only used the phone-smashing claim to blackmail the American singer.

A report by celebrity news website TMZ, quoted sources close to Brown alleging that Brenda Chepkoech was nagging them requesting for a ticket for the highly-publicised show.

The report added that when the lady failed to get the ticket, she asked for a selfie with the singer and that request, too, was declined.

Brown’s team claimed that it was then that Chepkoech decided to pull the stunt claiming Brown had smashed her phone while she tried to get a selfie with the American star.

Last week, after Brown’s arrival at the Moi International Airport on Saturday morning, Chepkoech addressed the media alleging that the high-profile guest had smashed her Sh90,000 gadget.

The reports quickly spread like bush fire sparking massive reactions from those who condemned the action while others contested the allegations citing lack of outright evidence to prove the same.

A video of the incident taken by one of the fans at the airport appeared to disapprove Chepkoech’s claims as the two did not have physical contact.
