Kenya: Evans Kidero To Vie For Presidency In 2022

Nairobi Governor, Evans Kidero wants to succeed Uhuru Kenyatta in 2022.

Speaking in Nairobi Thursday, Kidero expressed confidence that he will clinch the seat in the 2022 Presidential election.

Kidero, who is seeking re-election in 2017, is not the only ODM Governor who is interested in the Presidency.

According to Standard, Ali Hassan Joho (Mombasa), Wycliffe Oparanya (Kakamega)are also seeking to occupy State House in 2022.

So far, Deputy President William Ruto is the strongest candidate for the 2022 Presidential election even though his bid has been marred with several hurdles.
