Abuja – The Presidency has actually denied reports of infighting and power battle in between the security chiefs to President Muhammadu Buhari, reports

The Presidency said there was absolute understanding between them in their collective responsibility to protect the country and defeat insurgency in the land.
There have been rumours of squabbling between National Security Adviser (NSA), Babagana Monguno, and the Director General of the State Security Services (SSS) Lawal Daura.
A top presidency source who spoke on condition of anonymity said the successes so far recorded in the fight against organized crimes and insurgency in the country were an eloquent testimony of no crack in the wall of relationship of the nation’s security apparatus.
According to the source, the NSA always holds the regular meetings with all the security chiefs or their representatives in attendance.
The source appealed to Nigerians and the international community to disregard any false information”, assuring the loyalty and cohesion of the security apparatus.
