Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta To Personally Lead Ruto’s 2022 Campaigns

President Uhuru Kenyatta will personally take charge of his deputy, William Ruto’s 2022 presidential campaigns.

Bahati Member of Parliament, Kimani Ngunjiri said that Kenyatta will do so to prove wrong those saying that the Kikuyu community will not vote for Ruto in the 2022 presidential elections.

Ngunjiri said that Uhuru will be obliged to move to every corner of the country to ensure that Ruto ascends to power after he retires.

Speaking in Bahati constituency on Tuesday, Ngunjiri said that it will be shellfish for the Kikuyu community not to vote for Ruto in 2022 considering the immense support Ruto has given Uhuru since 2013.

“Come 2022, Uhuru will be in charge of Ruto’s campaigns and he will lead from the front in moving across the nation to solicit for votes on behalf of Ruto because that is the only reward he can give Ruto for supporting him since 2013 and standing with him during the most difficult times,” said Ngunjiri.

“I don’t think it will be possible for Kikuyus not to vote for Ruto if Uhuru leads the campaigns himself and that will prove wrong all those dreaming and hoping that Ruto will not get support from central Kenya,” he said.

“Kikuyus will have no otherwise but to support Ruto in 2022 because if they do anything against that,  no Kenyan will ever trust them,” he said.
