Twenty year old Zara Holland who won Miss Great Britain last September has been stripped of her title after having sex with fellow Love Island contestant Alex Bowen on the UK reality TV show.
The model and boutique director from North Ferriby had only been Miss Great Britain for 9 months before the scandal occurred this week and she immediately expressed regret for her actions the morning after the steamy escapade with her fellow contestant.
An official statement from the organisation confirmed on Thursday that first runner-up Deone Robertson will take over for the rest of the year because they ‘can no longer promote Zara as a positive role model.’
Zara Holland was crowned Miss Great Britain in Leicester in September 2015, having previously held the regional title of Miss Hull.
