Migori County has been ranked among counties leading in cases of early pregnancies countrywide.
The county ranked fourth after Narok, Homa Bay and Nyamira in that order.
According to Network for Adolescents Youths in Africa (NAYA) communications officer Vincent Ogaya, the rate of early pregnancies in the County stands at 24.3 percent.
That means that out of every four girls, one have given birth.
The high rate could be attributed to early sex among teenagers.
Boda Boda operators have also been reported to lure young school girls into sex.
