CORD MP To Host President Uhuru At His Home

A CORD MP will host President Uhuru Kenyatta for a meal at his home.

Mwingi Central MP Joe Mutambu told News24 that he will host the President at his home where he hopes to discuss policies that affect the people of the region.

Mutambu, who has openly stated his desire to work with the Jubilee Coalition, says that he will play host to the head of state in a meeting that will show his open support for the Presidency as well as future hope to work with the ruling coalition.

” I will host the President at my home this weekend,” he stated.

When asked if the move will anger his Coalition leaders, Mutambu stated that he does not care much.

” This is about nation building. Those that want to throw tantrums can do so,” he added.

Mutambu has been openly flirting with the Jubilee Coalition and has been among legislators who have been meeting the President at State House in recent months.
