Machakos To Host This Year’s Mashujaa Day

The county of Machakos will be the host to this years mashujaa day celebrations to be held on the 20th of October.

President Uhuru Kenyatta announced this is part of his promise that two out of three national day celebrations in each year must be held outside the capital city Nairobi.

Addressing the nation during this years Madaraka day celebrations at Afraha stadium Kenyatta said that celebrating national days outside Nairobi will be one way of making Kenyans feel that they are part of government.

“As I had said earlier in my address that two of the national day celebrations will be celebrated outside Nairobi, let me announce that this years mashujaa day will be celebrated in the county of Machakos on 20th October,”said Uhuru.
