Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Vows To Continue Strike On Thursday.

The Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) has vowed to continue with its strike action on Thursday, following the commencement of a nationwide protest over fuel prices on Wednesday.

According to a Naij report, NLC has commended those who joined the strike, while urging more citizens to join and mobilize others.

“Accordingly, we urge you to mobilise your members, friends or colleagues for the continuation of the protest tomorrow.

“You are requested to assemble at Berger Roundabout tomorrow at 7 a.m.,” said NLC, according to Premium Times.

The action had little effect on normal daily activities, however, with many Nigerians simply choosing to ignore the protest and go on about their daily business.

The union has vowed to plow on with the protest despite a court injunction barring the move.
