A bomb blast hit the state secretariat in Maiduguri, on Thursday in the Borno state capital.
At least two people were killed in the bomb blast, while scores were reported to be injured.
Further details remain sketchy as the area has been condoned off by military troops.

According to Naij.com, Military sources quoted by AFP, said the bombers were women dressed as men; attack bears attributes of Boko Haram violence.
The attack comes after months of relative calm in the city as a military counter-insurgency made gains against rebel strongholds across the northeast of Nigeria.
