Husband killed his wife cause she provoked him

Lagos – Lekan Shondi, the husband that allegedly killed his wife Ronke Shodi, has been detained by the police.

The police spokesperson, Dolapo Badmos, said the police tracked him down,

He said the suspect will be transferred to the State Department of Criminal Investigation.

Lekan, however said he surrendered himself.

The couple who lived on Tiemo Close, Off Awori Street, in the Egbeda-Idimu area of Lagos State have been having issues with their marriage for a while before it culminated in the death of Ronke on Thursday, after which her husband fled the house and locked up the children with their dead mother.

He said he killed his wife Ronke because she provoked him by describing vividly how her lover slept with her in a hotel in Abuja.
