Uhuru is the right man for the Presidency come 2017, a Governor has said.
The President, who is seeking another term come the 2017 polls has now been supported by Meru Governor Peter Munya who has in recent times descented on the ruling Jubilee Coalition.
Munya says that despite his feelings about the Jubilee Coalition, the President is the right man for the job come the polls.
” The President gets my support for the Presidency come 2017. That is a fact,” he told News24.
Munya added that he will still contest the Presidency come 2017 on a party other than the Jubilee Coalition.
” I will name my new party in the coming weeks,” he stated.
Munya is quitting the Jubilee Coalition because of what he terms as a move to back DP William Ruto unfairly for the 2022 elections.
