The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State has denied allegations made by a former spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential campaign, Femi Fani-Kayode, that former governor of Lagos State, Babatunde Fashola, and his Rivers State counterpart, Rotimi Amaechi, funded President Muhammadu Buhari’s campaign.
The publicity secretary of the APC in Lagos State Joe Igbokwe, who made the clarification said Fani-Kayode’s allegation is false
Igbokwe noted that the former minister seemed to be haunted by his shadow.
The APC scribe noted that rather than peddling rumours and making allegations, it will be better if the former minister quickly returned the N840m he admitted to received from the former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki
