President Muhammadu Buhari has pleaded with distraught parents of the missing Chibok girls to be patient with him.
According to a Punch report, Buhari urged the parents to show understanding as his administration works tirelessly to bring the abducted schoolgirls home safely.
Contained in a statement issued by Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, Buhari assured relatives of the missing girls that he frequently “reflects on the ordeal of the captives in the hands of Boko Haram terrorists and shares the pain of their continued absence from home”.
Buhari has since assured the relatives of those abducted that no effort will be spared in the rescue of the Chibok girls.
