Former Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpempulo, who is also known as Tompolo has decided to take legal action against Federal Government over fraud charges filed against him, Punch reported.
Tompolo wants fraud charges of N45 billion to be dropped by Federal High Court of Lagos.
He approached his lawyer Ebunolo Adegboruwa, seeking a restraining order for the court to not go through with the charges laid against him.
The Economic Financial Crimes Commission took Tompolo to court over misuse of military funds.
The other defendants in this case include the Federal Government of Nigeria, Inspector General of Police, Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Air Staff and Chief of Naval Staff.
Further, Tompolo also wants Justice Buba to be nullified over presiding over his case.
