A 25 year old man identified as Ajayi Kehinde, has drowned after he parked his SUV close at the Oke Afa canal in Isolo and jumped into the canal.
The identity of the man was known through the vehicle particulars in the SUV.
The reason for the action is not yet known as no relative of the deceased has been located. Also the body of the deceased is yet to be recovered.
The Lagos State Police Command Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos confirmed the incident.
She said the police were making efforts to recover his body and investigation into the matter is ongoing.
