Isaac Ruto Apologizes, Wants To Return To Jubilee

Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto says he is ready to reconcile with DP William Ruto after his acquittal from the International Criminal Court ICC.

Ruto says that the now clean DP has been granted the spirit of reconciliation by God and that there is no reason for him not to also do so.

” The time for reconciliation is here. If the DP has been cleared by God then there is no reason why we cannot sit down and work together,” he told News24.

The DP together with journalist Joshua Sang were let free from their Crimes Against Humanity charges at the ICC Tuesday for lack of evidence.

The Bomet Governor has been at loggerheads with the DP but is now ready to return to the Jubilee Coalition.

” The door is open. I am now ready to return to the fold and speak with the DP,” he added.

Ruto’s office did not comment on the matter at the time of publishing the story but it remains to be seen whether he will in the coming days as he traverses the country celebrating his victory.
