Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, has accused Rivers State governor, Nyesom Wike of playing politics with the development and lives of the people of the state.
Amaechi was reacting to comments by Wike that he would not continue with the monorail project which the Minister started.
Amaechi in statement in Abuja, accused Wike of twisting, butchering and turning the truth upside down; and in most cases telling outright lies in his failed bid to denigrate, tarnish and rubbish his towering image, person and laudable, landmark achievements.
Amaechi said it was worrisome that the governor could be playing with the safety and security of the lives of Rivers people.
He said it was regrettable that the governor linked the killing of innocent members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and other indigenes of the state to cultism.
Amaechi also charged the governor to disclose to Nigerians the cult groups and the cult wars that led to the killing of the innocent youth corps member, Chukwudumeibi Okonta during the March 19 legislative rerun elections in the state.
