Re-Elect Jubilee In 2017 At Your Own Peril, Sossion Tells Teachers

Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General, Wilson Sossion has told teachers to re-elect the Jubilee government in 2017 at their own peril.

Sossion said that teachers will be digging their own grave by re-electing Jubilee in next year’s polls.

Speaking Tuesday in Nakuru town when he met the new County KNUT officials, Sossion told teachers to make the wisest decision in 2017 for their own good.

He added that Jubilee government has made teachers to suffer because they do not have their interests at heart.

Sossion said that KNUT will tell teachers which candidate to support in 2017 when the right time comes.

“2017 is just next year and that is the time for teachers to make an informed decision; the biggest mistake would be for teachers to re-elect people who have made them suffer and neglected them,” said Sossion.

He added: “Jubilee and its leaders have no respect for Kenyan teachers and they don’t care about our welfare but KNUT will give teachers direction when time comes.”
