DP William Ruto is set to address directly rogue Jubilee MPs following his arrival to Kericho.
Ruto is scheduled to lead other Jubilee leaders in a thanksgiving ceremony at Kericho Teachers College following the Tuesday swearing-in of new Kericho Senator Aaron Cheruiyot.
Jubilee’s Cheruiyot won 109,358 votes against KANU’s Paul Sang’s 56,241 votes.
National Assembly Deputy Speaker Joyce Laboso, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale, Senate Majority Leader Kithure Kindiki and his deputy Kipchumba Murkomen will accompany Ruto in the celebrations.
It is expected that Ruto will directly address Jubilee leaders who have chosen to support the opposition in recent times during the rally.
” The DP will address issues ranging from development to the unity of the ruling coalition in the region,” a statement from his team said.
He is said to be very disappointed in the actions of MPs to support KANU in the region and especially Oscar Sudi the Kapseret MP who is a close friend.
Sudi and others have accused the Jubilee government of not delivering on its promises.
