Two chiefs from Laikipia North sub-county have been sacked for abetting child marriages and cattle rustling in their areas of administration.
Laikipia County Commissioner Apollo Okello asked the two, John Lemoile of Sieku village and Kididing Musieng’ of Uwaso village, to hand over their official caps and uniform to his office.
He also asked them to collect their dismissal letters.

During the meeting where he issued 47 chiefs each with a motorbike, Okello told the administrators to ensure Nyumba Kumi initiative worked in their areas to enhance security.
