An imposter pretending to be an officer of the law was arrested in Rongo after residents notified the police, reports Citizen TV.
According to police the man was identified as a man named Omondi who was hiding out in Rongo Town after he escaped from a police vehicle two month ago.
Omondi was found with more than seven police uniforms along with other stolen properties.
An investigation into the culprits escape is underway.
