Nigeria President Buhari Appoints Former Lagos Deputy Governor As SSA

Abuja – President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire as his Senior Special Assistant on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

According to a statement issued by Buhari’s special adviser on Media, Femi Adesina, the appointment takes immediate effect.

Orelope-Adefulire served as Deputy-Governor of Lagos State in the last administration and is an accomplished politician with many years of experience in public service.

She has also served as Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation in Lagos State.
