Kenya: Musalia Mudavadi Buys 2 Choppers, Eyes presidency In 2017

Nairobi – Amani National Congress ANC leader Musalia Mudavadi has bought two helicopters as he aims to win the presidency in 2017.

The former Deputy Prime Minister has been seen traversing western Kenya with the choppers as he seeks to rise to the country’s top seat.

He is said to be planning the mother of all campaigns to vie for the top seat.

His party Secretary General Godfrey Osotsi said that plans to sell Mudavadi as Kenya’s best hope are at an advanced stage.

” We have a serious inkling that it will be our time and we are confident that it will be the case,” he said of the campaign.

” The planning is already underway and we expect to see wonders this time. We are very confident you will see great things,” Osotsi added.

Mudavadi is looking to compete with President Uhuru Kenyatta and CORD leader Raila Odinga for the topmost seat come the elections in 2017.

He has thus far stated that he will not step aside for any candidate.

” ANC will field a presidential candidate. That is all that matters,” he says.

Mudavadi has been linked with the CORD coalition in the past as efforts are made to pull together the Luhya vote ahead of the polls.
