Pupil Arrested In Mombasa For Stabbing Schoolmate

A Standard Seven pupil has been arrested for stabbing his 12-year-old schoolmate at Sparki Primary School in Mombasa.

The 14-year-old boy committed the offense on Friday as they headed home, Daily Nation reports.

The victim’s mother said that her son is recovering well, and demanded the assailant to foot the hospital bill KES 70 000.

Security has been a challenge in Mombasa.

Monday, Capital FM reported another incident where a man was sentenced to death after he was found guilty of raping and killing a five-year-old girl.

John Mwanzo, 42, committed the offense in  2012.
