Liverpool Ladies forward Asisat Oshoala has denied report of her joining Arsenal Ladies.
It was reported that Liverpool Ladies have “reluctantly accepted” a transfer bid for the Nigeria international from fellow Women’s Super League side Arsenal Ladies.
The Gunners have also reportedly activated a release clause in Oshoala’s contract with the Reds.
But Oshoala, who joined Liverpool in 2015 and also emerged the first winner of the BBC Women Footballer of the Year in 2015, disclosed that she still remain a Liverpool player.
“For now i don’t wanna speak on the issue at all, it’s a confidential issue either Arsenal or Liverpool i don’t wanna talk about any team for now, but for me i still remain a Liverpool player,” Oshoala said.
