The men, aged 45 and 58, were killed on Wednesday night, police spokesperson captain FC van Wyk said.

Two men aged 28 and 32 were arrested on the same night and were expected to appear in the Athlone Magistrate’s Court soon.

Police were investigating the motive and circumstances of the shooting.
