16-Year Old Busted With Bhang And Guns Arraigned In Court

A 16-year child discovered with a gun, 20 rounds of ammunition, rolls of bhang as well as police uniforms on Saturday is ready to show up in court on Monday.

According to Citizen TV he was busted during a police operation at Sewage Estate in Manyatta.

His accomplice however is on the run.

This is routine crackdown operation after increased complaints from residents complaining about criminal activity.

Meanwhile police said Sunday they are holding 17 armed youth who belong to two deadly gangs in the coastal city of Mombasa that have been terrorising the residents.

Mombasa County Deputy Commissioner, Salim Mahmud said the suspected criminals who were arrested early Sunday were found in possession of machetes and hard drugs.

“They will be arraigned in court on Monday to be charged with possession of drugs and attempt to commit felony,” Mohamud said in Mombasa.
